There are merits to taking the time to learn how to create and use a natural deodorant. You’ll find that there are various recipes on how to go about it but what isn’t clear to most people though is why bother with it at all? What’s wrong with conventional deodorants that are readily available in grocery stores? After all, you’ve probably been using it for awhile and hardly see any reason to switch to natural home-made ones.

Well the problem with conventional deodorants is that they generally contain aluminium which is a fairly potent toxin and has been linked to a wide range of health issues like skin and breast cancer as well as debilitating diseases like Alzheimer’s. If you are keen about preventing these kind of health problems then it would make sense to limit your exposure to such elements down to the type of deodorants you’re applying on your body.

Natural home-made deodorants work just as well as their conventional counterparts. The fact that you’re making it yourself also means you have the opportunity to tailor it to your preferences and know exactly what goes into your hygiene and skin care products. More importantly, you’d be doing the environment some good as you’re using all natural ingredients. All the more reason to consider making the switch to natural home-made deodorants!
